New cycle route signage

Know where to go: Signs and markings on the road guide you intuitively through the city, ensuring a relaxed ride without having to look at your mobile phone. The first signs are already up, and more are appearing every day. Route 4 from Alsterdorf to the city centre is the first to have been completed. Around 100 kilometres of cycle routes will be signposted in this way by early 2026 – in the city centre, but also in districts such as Niendorf, Steilshoop, Bergedorf, Harburg and Blankenese.
